lyrics
When the crows are asleep, they can hardly move,
all crashed near Denver, with their weakened hearts.
When I can approach, so easily, without any disturbance,
way too dark to flee.
When the crows are asleep, I‘m awake imagining ourselves,
on our tiny roof, where we’ve been known by name, by some citizens,
who didn’t flee either, from Rand. Never after all, way too dark to flee.
I just fear the few, although they all sleep, just like the crows, their
conscience must be clean. I just fear the few, when I think of you,
and the trail I’ve got to choose, since you passed away.
God I’m grateful too, even after all, that I didn’t replace
Rand, with another view.
When the crows are asleep,
I imagine you and the fact you’re only ashes, on the land.
And I’m the weakest chain, in this community.
Backpacked to take a flight but,
I just fear the few, although they all sleep, just like the crows, their
conscience must be clean. I just fear the few, when I think of you,
and the trail I’ve got to choose, since you passed away.
When the crows are asleep, they can hardly move.
When the crows are asleep, they can hardly move.
I imagine us, wild & filled with many plans, all the joy
little Rand has brought us,
I just fear the few, although they all sleep, just like the crows, their
conscience must be clean. I just fear the few, when I think of you,
and the trail I’ve got to choose, since you passed away.
